About Lisa Beach

Lisa Beach graduated from the Tai Sophia Institute for the Healing Arts with a Master of Acupuncture degree.

She is licensed in acupuncture by the state of Maryland and is also a certified detoxification specialist through the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). Her clinical experience has been focused on chronic pain conditions and women's health concerns. Lisa believes that compassionate patient-centered care is crucial to helping patients on their journey towards radiant health.

About Shahrzad Taavoni

Shahrzad Taavoni, B.S, L.Ac, Dipl OM, M.A.T.C.M, is a licensed Acupuncturist in Maryland and California, with a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Los Angeles, California.

She is a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine and is board-certified both in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Alexandria, Virginia. In addition, she has received extensive training in traditional Chinese herbology (with over 450 hours of course education) from Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Ms. Taavoni has also been trained in Five Element Acupuncture from the Tai Sophia Institute in Laurel, Maryland.

Ms. Taavoni received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland College Park and integrates this background into her healing approach. She is certified in Clean Needle Technique from the Counsel of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Silver Spring, Maryland and is CPR trained by the American Red Cross. Her five years of extensive clinical experience in both California and Maryland have focused on facilitating healing for conditions such as anxiety, depression, muscular pain, gynecological disorders, digestive ailments, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, bell’s palsy, migraines, weight reduction, allergies, infertility and ADD/ADHD for children.
