Arrive 10 minutes before class.

Please take these moments to settle in, breathe, and quiet your mind.

If you arrive late to class, be mindful of other students.

Quietly set up your mat and take a moment to center yourself before jumping into poses.

Doors will be shut 15 minutes after class begins.

We hate for you to miss your practice, but to ensure the safety of all of our students, no one may enter class 15 minutes after it begins.

Remove your shoes BEFORE coming into the studio.

Naked feet like clean floors: don’t track your dirt into the studio.

Please turn off all cell phones.

Please refrain from wearing fragrances.

We like you just the way you are, and other students may have allergies.

Your mat is your own happy oasis.

Avoid stepping on your neighbor’s mat.

No peer pressure.

Yoga/Pilates should not be competitive. Use modifications and practice at a level that is good for YOUR body.

Pick up and neatly put away any props. Wipe down mats.

Come with an open mind.

Be amazed by the physical and mental experience of yoga/Pilates, and take time after class to think about what you learned about yourself.
