When should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your class start time. This will give you time to register for a two-class introductory card and discuss your class goals and any physical limitations or medical conditions that you may have with your instructor.

Do I need to bring equipment?

Our studios provide all the equipment you need for your yoga class, so you do not need to bring anything. However, you may bring your own mat or purchase one from our wellness boutique.

What do I wear?

Feeling comfortable is important for relaxation and range of movement. Please wear clothes that you would take a walk in or wear to exercise. Clothes should be well fitting, not baggy, with stretch in the fabric. If you have long hair, you may want to tie it back so it won’t interfere with your practice.

Is yoga done in bare feet?

Yes, yoga is practiced on a yoga mat in bare feet to allow for poses to be performed without sliding. You can remove footwear before entering the studio and leave it in the changing room or in the studio cubbies.

What do I eat before class?

The day of your class, eat light, balanced meals and drink plenty of water. Any physical activity on an empty stomach is not good for the body. At the same time, you do not want to be full, as it will be uncomfortable when performing the yoga poses.

Do I have to pre-register for class?

We ask that all students pre-register before their first class. This may be done online, or you may contact us to pre-register with a wellness coordinator.
